Conference by Mariano Fazio on "Freedom, truth and university"

The former rector of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and current auxiliary vicar of Opus Dei, Mariano Fazio, gave the conference entitled "Freedom, truth and university" on January 18. Priest, historian, philosopher and university professor, the speaker spoke in the afternoon in front of more than four hundred people, in the Aula Magna of the University. In the morning, Fazio had the opportunity to get to know the two campuses of UIC Barcelona.

Institutional commemoration in memoriam of Dr Cervós, on his first anniversary

On 14 November, 2021, Dr Jordi Cervós i Navarro (1930-2021), the first rector of UIC Barcelona, passed away. A special commemoration will be held in memory of the renowned neuropathologist, awarded doctor honoris causa seven times by several universities around the world and recipient of the Creu de Sant Jordi..

Charity trail race: Antena Solidària - Trail Pedralbes

The Trail Pedralbes Antena Solidària is a charity trail race along the trails and paths of Collserola. There are three race formats: trail half marathon (22.5 Km, +1100), trail (11 Km, +650) and hike (8 Km, +550).

Opening ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year and celebration of the 25th anniversary

Opening ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year, and official opening of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary. The event will be led by journalist Ramon Pellicer and will feature an inaugural lecture by Dr. Valentí Fuster, general manager at Centre Nacional d’Investigacions Cardiovasculars (CNIC), manager at Institut Cardiovascular and Physician-in-Chief at Mount Sinai Medical Center and invested doctor honoris causa by UIC Barcelona.
