Thanksgiving mass, which will take place in the Sagrada Família Barcelona. It will be celebrated on 2 October, the date that UIC Barcelona was recognised and published in the DOGC 25 years ago.

Opening ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year and celebration of the 25th anniversary
Opening ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year, and official opening of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary. The event will be led by journalist Ramon Pellicer and will feature an inaugural lecture by Dr. Valentí Fuster, general manager at Centre Nacional d’Investigacions Cardiovasculars (CNIC), manager at Institut Cardiovascular and Physician-in-Chief at Mount Sinai Medical Center and invested doctor honoris causa by UIC Barcelona.

Charity trail race
The Trail Pedralbes Antena Solidària is a charity trail race along the trails and paths of Collserola. There are three race formats: trail half marathon (22.5 Km, +1100), trail (11 Km, +650) and hike (8 Km, +550).

Institutional commemoration in memoriam of Dr Cervós, on his first anniversary
On 14 November, 2021, Dr Jordi Cervós i Navarro (1930-2021), the first rector of UIC Barcelona, passed away. A special commemoration will be held in memory of the renowned neuropathologist, awarded doctor honoris causa seven times by several universities around the world and recipient of the Creu de Sant Jordi..

Exhibition of the Nativity collection of UIC Barcelona
In 2016, the concept of the traditional Christmas card that the University sends every year to celebrate the festive season was updated. The Impars project, which promotes the visibility of work by the creative community, commissioned a collection of Nativities created by artists exclusively for the University. To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we have gathered all the originals in one exhibition.

Special University 25th anniversary university closing ceremony
The Aula Magna will host the university closing ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year in a special edition that will close the 25th anniversary events. To the year's balance sheet, the announcement of appointments and renewals for the following academic year and the recognition of people who have completed 10 years at UIC Barcelona, will be added a series of surprises on the occasion of the first quarter of a century of the University.
